AppsBow at Maintrel 4.0 in Dammam, Saudi Arabia

A milestone moment for AppsBow in the GCC region

From 2 to 4 February 2026, AppsBow participated in Maintrel 4.0, one of the most important industrial maintenance and reliability events in the region, held in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The conference gathered industry leaders, technology providers, plant operators, and reliability experts to discuss how digital transformation, AI, and advanced methodologies are reshaping maintenance and operational excellence.

AppsBow took an active role in the event, marking a significant step in the company’s international growth. As part of the conference program, AppsBow’s CEO, Sebastian Zielinski, was invited to speak on a high-level panel titled:

“AI-Powered Reliability: Transforming Predictive Maintenance into Performance Excellence.”

During the discussion, Sebastian shared AppsBow’s perspective on the real role of artificial intelligence in industrial environments. He underlined that while AI and predictive analytics are powerful tools, they must never become opaque systems detached from the people who operate and rely on them:

“AI cannot be a black box for people. Everything starts and ends with humans. To achieve excellence, the training of people is the most important factor for performance and safety. One cannot exist without the other.”

This message resonated strongly with the audience, highlighting the need for transparency, interpretability, and trust in AI-driven maintenance systems. According to AppsBow’s philosophy, predictive maintenance and performance excellence are only possible when advanced technology is combined with well-designed training programs that prepare people to understand, validate, and act on AI recommendations, especially in safety-critical industrial sectors.

First AppsBow appearance on stage in the GCC

Maintrel 4.0 represented a major milestone in AppsBow’s history. It was the first event where AppsBow appeared on stage in the GCC region, officially signaling the company’s expansion into Middle Eastern markets. This step reflects AppsBow’s long-term strategy of supporting industrial organizations in the region with advanced training, safety, and operational excellence solutions.

Beyond presenting technology, AppsBow used the event to share knowledge and best practices related to safety, human performance, and modern training methodologies, with a strong emphasis on Virtual Reality–based industrial training. By leveraging VR, digital twins, and human-centric AI, AppsBow enables organizations to train their workforce in realistic, risk-free environments—building competence, confidence, and safety before employees ever step into real-world operations.

Maintrel 4.0 in Dammam was not just another conference for AppsBow. It marked the beginning of a new chapter in the GCC, reinforcing the company’s mission to elevate industrial performance through people-focused technology, immersive training, and a clear belief that true excellence is achieved when humans and AI work together—not separately.
