On 18 and 19 September 2015, the Sheraton Hotel in Sopot became the venue for an important event. More than one hundred representatives of leading industrial brands, scientific institutions, and state organizations gathered to discuss the future of safety in industry. The PZU Risk Engineering Days brought together safety specialists as well as decision-makers responsible for investments in protective measures within companies.
AppsBow had the opportunity to take part in this unique gathering thanks to our cooperation with PROZAP. Together we had been preparing virtual reality training for Grupa Azoty Puławy, and this project attracted considerable attention. As a result, we were invited to present vReact, our 3D and VR training solution, during the conference.
The organizers gave us the privilege of delivering a keynote session for a selected audience. This closed group included specialists directly responsible for industrial safety and experts who shape the standards of safe operations. During our keynote, we explained how virtual reality could bring measurable improvements to training processes in industrial plants.
We demonstrated how employees can learn faster by practicing in immersive environments that replicate real facilities. The possibility of repeating procedures without risk accelerates the learning process and strengthens retention. At the same time, organizations can reduce the costs of traditional training, which often requires taking equipment offline or creating special setups.
We also highlighted how virtual training directly increases safety. Workers can gain practical skills without exposure to dangerous situations, which minimizes risk during real operations. Furthermore, in industries with high employee turnover, vReact supports faster onboarding and ensures consistent knowledge transfer.
After the presentation, participants had the chance to experience our system firsthand. They tested vReact with existing training modules created for industrial plants. This hands-on demonstration proved to the audience that VR is not just a concept but a powerful and ready solution for industry.
